Under certain circumstances, dust-free shot blasting is used, but nowadays this is mainly confined to metal surfaces. We at Impact Flooring are at the forefront of preparation using the latest 3 and 4 headed planetary diamond grinders, which grind, texture and clean the concrete surface but leave no unsightly grind marks, so that when a surface coating is then applied, the appearance is that of a smooth finish.
